If you’ve forgotten your Apple ID password, start by visiting the Apple ID account page (iforgot.apple.com) and click on "Forgot Apple ID or password?" ➔ Enter your Apple ID and select the option to reset your password via email or security questions. ➔ Follow the instructions provided in the email or answer the security questions to set a new password. If you have two-factor authentication enabled, you can also reset your password using a trusted device by selecting "Forgot password?" on the sign-in screen ➔ This will send a verification code to your trusted device, allowing you to reset your password. If you can’t access your email or trusted devices, opt for account recovery by following the prompts, but note that this process may take several days.

 

To unlock your Apple ID, go to the Apple ID account page (iforgot.apple.com) and click "Forgot Apple ID or password?". Enter your Apple ID email address and then follow the prompts to either answer security questions or obtain a verification code via email or SMS. If you have two-factor authentication enabled, you can unlock your account on a trusted device by navigating to Settings > [your name] > Password & Security > Unlock Apple ID and Your Apple ID  Will Be Unlocked and Restored.
